Jatson Choekhorling Community Donation - Family Hardship

Dear Members of the Jatson Choekhorling Community of Carlisle, PA.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved member, Lakpa C. Ghising, born on April 20, 1932. He passed away at the age of 92 in the hospital on June 15, 2024. He lived with his daughter Sancha Tamang and her husband.

Lakpa C. Ghising was born in Suntalay, Bhutan. After moving to Nepal, he lived in Beldangi 1, sector G-3. Late Mr. Lakpa C. Ghising was a devoted Buddhist and a cherished member of our community. We are deeply saddened by this news and extend our sincere condolences to his family for this great loss. May his soul reside in the Dewachen heaven, guided by all the Buddhas. Om Mani Padme Hung.
